Celebrating the Shooting Sports

Short Message
A key mission at the Oklahoma City Gun Club is to provide a positive, educational and safe experience for anyone interested in firearms and the shooting sports all the while building and growing strong and safe communities throughout our surrounding communities.
Long Message
Since 1958, the Oklahoma City Gun Club has served central Oklahoma with one of the nation’s largest volunteer guncommunities and outdoor ranges. From the events hosted onsite to our large volunteer base of instructors, we have provided club members and visitors with training in the safe handling and keeping of firearms, improved marksmanship, competition opportunities, and a lifelong love of the shooting sports.
Growing Community
Incorporated in 1958, the Oklahoma City Gun Club has grown to over 2000 members. There are over 20 active divisions representing a wide range of shooting sports including various shotgun, action pistol, silhouette, cowboy action, archery, women-oriented programs, youth programs, and many more. Our member base is committed to the upkeep of the grounds keeping membership fees affordable.
Training & Instructors
With the core mission to train in the safe handling and use of firearms and further improve marksmanship, we have programs for our membership as well as introductory and basic instruction for the general public. The club also offers ongoing firearms training and access to facilities for law enforcement, military, and first responders. Many of our members hold multiple firearm instruction certifications from organizations such as the NRA and NSSA. This in turn makes our surrounding cities informed and safer.
With over 600 acres of semi-wooded land near Lake Arcadia, our club provides a beautiful area to enjoy outdoor sports a short drive from Oklahoma City. Our acreage is well-maintained with multiple outdoor ranges, clubhouses, restrooms, picnic and camping areas and other amenities for our club members to enjoy.
Building Communities
Our primary mission at the Oklahoma City Gun Club is to provide a positive, fun, educational and safe experience for anyone interested in firearms and the shooting sports, providing a chance to compete with organized events, all the while building and growing strong and safe communities throughout our surrounding areas.
